Super Major Hand Brake!

Post by skateboss »

Hi Guys,

Could someone please post a picture of the hand brake as I am having trouble fitting it as it doesnt disengage, I think I might have the bracket mounted too high.

p.s. this is the break which holds down the left foot pedal to operate the disc break.

Thanks
Regards Chris

Thanks Brian, that is exactly how I fitted it but the teeth are permanently meshed GGGRRRRRR. I must be having a stupid moment or somthing lol.

But it is assembled exactly how it shows in that parts list. To be honest I dont think that you can really put it on the wrong way.... or can you lol.

Thanks

Thanks Everyone,

I figured it out lol. it was a mixture of having new footplates and a little bit of spring in the bracket that goes under the break pedals which holds the ratchet on.

All I did is tightend the two bolts up really tight on the front of the footplate, and hey presto the bloody handbreak works again.

I knew it was something stupid lol.

Thanks.
