Be damned if I can figure out how to post pics.
To display your image directly as opposed to a link you need to enclose the photo link with the IMG tag. The easiest way is using the 'Img' button when you post a message, then paste your image link then close the tag by clicking the 'Img' button again. The text should look like this:

{img}http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/5319/006ha.jpg{/img}

N.B. the code above has had its ['s replaced with {'s so you can read the code.

Remember before posting you can use the preview option before submitting.

Try editing your first post adding the tags

That's a really nice Super 4, Pat. You don't find old tractors in that condition very often. I'm trying to track down another Super 6. I've talked to a couple of people that remember it, but I don't know where it is, yet. Maybe it will be in that condition, too. (Yeah, right!) I'll be happy if I can just find it, no matter what condition its in.

I'll scan that County manual, over the next few evenings. I can e-mail it to you or put it on a CD and mail it to you, whatever will work best for you.

OK we finaly got it!
Go to ImageShack, upload a file/image of your toy, below your uploaded picture you will see a (Direct Link), left click on the link to highlite it, then right click and copy the link, now go back to to the post you are working in and just below the subject box you will see a thumbnail selection for (Img), I probably looked this page over fifty times before I realized it was there, now click on the Img thumbnail, it wil pop up in the message box, now right click and past your pic, and now click on the Img thumbnail again, WALA!
If you open the Prevew your pic should be displayed in the message box.

Now that I have this figured out you all will have to put up with me bragging for a while!

This is what the County looked like when I got it, ya I know I suck, just finaly got back to it this week. I had the power steering ram apart, new seals, and back on. now wating for the pump seal to show up. while I was wating for parts I got started with some body work as well. I looks like somone had chains all the way around once( probably skiding logs) as the fenders are wrinkled up and both sides of the front cowel are dented.

Pat,
Looks like you live close to Grani! I've been watching the news and your part of the country is being hit pretty hard with an Arctic blast. Makes me glad I live quite a ways south from your neighborhood.
Nice looking tractor, I bet that she'd pull quite a load.

I haven't forgotten you, Pat. I've been a little busy, but I've been able to scan about 60% of the manual. I should be done this week end.

Hi guys, thanks for the compliments!
JC , no rush.
We got the flu bug going around this weekend so I haven’t been out in the shop since last week, but I did get the power steering pump back together and on, also got all the wrinkles ironed out of the front cowling as well as the correct headlights and grills. Maybe get at the hood this week.

Got the hood done last week, when I get the Super Major back together enough to move it around I’ll rip the County apart to replace all the axel and shaft seals. Oil runs out of almost every seal on it.

Hmmmm, a Doe…….that’s not a half bad idea!! Unfortunately I will probably never own a real one as there are only three left over here in the US, this also makes it real difficult to look one over and measure it up to be able to make all of the important parts, but I have talked to the owner of one of them and one of these days I need to take a few days off and go look it over.

Hi Pat

Beautiful tractor. I'm not at all envious, you understand!

Quick question - how does the engine fare with the extra transmission and traction that it has to cope with? Is there enough power left over to pull well? I'm guessing the answer is yes, of course. With a normal Major, the problem is traction, which your glorious tractor laughs in the face of!

Best

Adrian
