drag arms?(lower 3pt arms)

Post by Foxen »

Out of curiosity, would the Ford 5000 arms fit on a Super Major? I am thinking there's quite a lot more of those(still being serviced new here in sweden) than the Major ones... if I have to drill an extra hole for something, then so be it, but are the length correct and such?

Sorry they won't fit. The 5000 had longer, heavier arms and the lifting angles would be wrong for the Super or Major.

Agriline has new Major ones at a reasonable cost but watch out for the interchangable balls which are not the same as Ford ones. (See Dexta forum below).

Ouch... And I suppose the Ford 4000 arms are all wrong too then?

Ok... strange questions I know, just looking over my options for used parts and the like, being poor and trying to fix 'er up means trying to find used parts and fixing up those old parts that no-one else wants ;)

My front cowl is made up of two badly rusted ones, one where the lower half was smashed and one where the top was rusted away ;)
