There's some great stuff on ebay. Check out these ..
This one is a 6 cylinder turbo super major !
This one is a V8 perkins major
If I had the money I'd be very tempted by the 6 cylinder turbo super major

Ian, I couldn't agree more. As far as I am concerned you can have the 6 cylinder; the 8 cylinder one is very tempting to me (if I had the money, too) because it is more exotic

I have great admiration for people that can build thes combinations and not just get it together and running (which is where I would end up if I were lucky), but make it look like it was a factory version("check box 4f for the optional 7 litre engine").

Several years ago, I had the chance to buy a good Perkins V-8 for $300 (£200), but I didn't have any use for it.
If I knew then what I know now....

the wheels on the 6 cylinder one, what are they and what width? do they take a 32" tyre?
