I am unable to find a Serial Number stamped on any of the usual locations on the engine block of my Fordson Power Major, however the ID Plate on the firewall has this information: Fordson Model 4529; Ser.No. 145; Ser. Prefix. 5.E.4.60.
Please can anyone crack this code for me?

Those are Australian Numbers but she looks like April 1960. If you find the casting numbers we can tell the day these were made and get you a close idea on when she was built. She could have been built up to a year before she was registered with the Aus. number.
