Hello Super,

This is what I have made on my New Major. I know yours has the lever under the steering wheel. but maybe it will give you a hint. The pedal is a wooden box locker.

Does your hand throttle move whenever you use the foot throttle, or does the foot throttle over-ride the hand throttle.
Have thought about adding one to my 57 many times.

Hello Kiwi Kev,

The hand throttle keeps in place when you use the foot throttle. You need a spring somewhere to bring the throttle rod back in place. Mine is behind the fuel pump, but if your major has the rod before the engine and not through (markII) you will have to find another place.
Works perfectly. But you must not put your feet on the foot throttle, while using the hand throttle because you will think the tractor will stop when you remove your foot. But it will go on, because the hand throttle over-ride the foot.
Will take a picture of it this week and post it.

Thanks for the photos. It pretty much what I had planned to do, just reassuring to know someone else has done it the same way.
