Would you pay that?

£1250 for a '62 Super Major with a rattling pto, no seat, lift arms or battery 
I would not pay 1250 pounds but thats my personal veiw . If somebody had all the parts laying around and time if the rest was good it would probably be a sensible priced tractor. Complete it could be worth a good bit more.
Prices for the old tractors have risen since I left the U.K. I used to sell a working painted Major with loader for around 800 pounds in 2000. now it seems to be hard to by the wreck to work on for less than that from the prices i see in U.K magazines I get sent over to me in Canada.
