Super Major Linkage Mounting Brackets
I've just bought another Major without lift arms. ( is someone out there going around pinching the damned things?). The latest one hasn't even got the mounting brackets. It's a '63 model but will brackets from earlier models fit? I can't see Ford changing the design over the years but you never know. If anybody can shed any light i'd be most appreciative.

Ambidextarous,
Would this be a help?

Only the power major had other brackets.
Trying to find the bottom part of the lift arm myself. I know were to buy them new, old stock, but that will cost about 75 Euros if I remember well.

Thank you Henk. The brackets i need are like the ones in your picture but i came across a Major yesterday that had different ones. The owner doesn't know what year it is though. Maybe Supers had different brackets to previous standard Majors.
As regards finding spares, i deal with Ron Greet in Devon who are extremely friendly, helpful and very reasonable on price.
Roadless63: both my Majors and the one i saw have swinging drawbars but the castings are slightly different from each other, rather confusing.
