Super Major Hydraulics

Post by Miles »

Super Major Feb-62

3pt arms lift and lower but there doesn't appear to be positive pop-off at top of lift cycle as compared to my other non SM's...Maybe this is normal? There is no neutral position that can be felt either. I have tried in both position and draft position with similar results. This is all with no load.

Normal or do I have I problem?

Regards

Miles,

That is normal for a Super. There is a neutral point but it is very hard to find. When the lift reaches the top of its travel, the control valve is moved into neutral by the piston.

One thing to remember, use Draft position for any implement on the auxillary service port, like a trailer or loader or any soil engaging implement like ploughs or cultivators.

Use the Position control position for hitching to implements, sprayers etc that need to be a fixed height from the ground.
