Registering a major with a slight problem

Hi I'm tryin too register my major on a age related plate but I have a view issues. My major used too be a petrol parrafin once apon a time befor I purchased it. Since then it's had a power major engine dropped in her. Can I still get a age related plate for her or will she need too go on a Q plate help me please.

Think you need to get her registered via NVTEC or another Club. Usually they like the dates of all the components to fit together eg Engine Number and casting codes.
I doubt if there would be any problems but send pictures of the tractor and all the codes and numbers to who ever you choose and see what they think. If they give you an age related number for the engine number it will be wrong for the rest of the tractor and the same will apply if they go by the casting codes.
Only the DVLA in their wisdom can give you a definite answer.

i do have the original reg for the back end but not for the rest of the tractor so with any luck i can sort it using that reg

My Major has had a different engine number to the one that’s fitted yet it was registered on the original engine number which is what the Fordson’s used as a chassis / VIN number.
