I am in the process of fitting a reconditioned front axle to my major. The problem is that i need to use the old axle housing. There is considerable up and down play, what do people normally do i was planning on drilling to a larger size and bushing back to standard size. The other question is should the pin rotate in the axle housing or should it be a tight fit. At present the pin seems to be stuck solid and may need a bit of persuassion to come out.
