Greetings everyone,

I have just been given a pair of Super Major grills, fixing kit and correct type head lights (I was intending to make my own brackets) for my 63 NSM.

I have searched the archive without much success so if anyone has some photos, diagrams, advice etc regarding fitting I would be most grateful.

Regards

Hello Tim,

Welcome to the board.

What kind of colour is yours? Seems like army green on the picture.
Kind regards, Henk

Hi Henk,

She is Air Force Green from her days at Shoreham airfield.

Thanks Sandymac for the link regarding brackets but what size are they and how are they mounted to the nose cone?

Regards
Tim

They mount using the same bolts as hold on the cowl along its front edge.

Nice Super Major. With the Air Force history, I think I would leave it green. 8) Dandy Dave!

Nice looking countryside  and tractor for that matter.
I tend to agree with Dandy Dave about leaving it the Air Force green
Good luck with the lights.
