Please can anyone advise,I have a BRAY BL 430 LOADER built on a fordson major skid unit but am confused as to the serial number which does not seem to conform to usual major numbers.Serial number on firewall plate is 457994. All other major numbers appear to start with 1. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.Thankyou.

Welcome Brayman,
With a 1 in front it would say January1958.
Try to read the engine number at cil 1 at the pump side.
You could also give us some casting codes as for example A15B.

Hi pete my bray is a 4 wheel drive ,Have just aquired the loader and the four wheel drive prop shaft is missing, could mean a substantial rebuild of the front axle ,but havn,t investigated yet.
