top cover removal help please

I am intending to remove the top cover on my 1958 major and am just wondering what is invloved as it is one thing i jhave never seen or done before
could any one provide me with some info???

Top cover of what? Rear axle?

Hi Ollie,
Welcome to the forum.
If you are taking the 3 pt. lift cover off, take all of the bolts out and lift it off. It's fairly heavy, so use an engine hoist to lift it.
