Low pressure on clutch pedal
Posted: Mon May 30, 2011 9:39 pm
Hi guys,
After my gearbox rebuild I put the engine back on..and than I discovered the pressure on the clutch pedal was very low.
I could press the pedal down with one finger (and I am not that strong
)
So we removed the engine again. I was told to wire the spring on the clutch axle twice, so we did that...quite a hard job though.
We mounted the engine again, but still very low pressure..
I have haven't got a clue what seems to be the problem. I can't remember changing any settings of the clutch.
I hope you can help me on this one.
Here are some pictures:

clutch pedal released

clutch pedal push in maximum

The white stuff in the clutch house is some kind of grease.
Thank you in advance for your help.
