Front Wheel Conversion
Front Wheel Conversion
Hi im thinking of putting the cast iorn wheels on my supermajor how do i do this ? o and would it of then them from new?
Re: Front Wheel Conversion
Im pretty sure that most supers came with cast wheels, but with three holes in them, not four (these are new major). So far as i know, you would would have to convert the front hubs back to the single nut for the cast wheels which i believe is quite simple.
Oh yay, look, another seized bolt! Lets get a hammer.....and some kano.....and some cider!
Re: Front Wheel Conversion
Ok cool but getting a new hub might be hard

Re: Front Wheel Conversion
You dont need a hub .All you need is the bearings.
Re: Front Wheel Conversion
ah ok what do i ask for or where do i get them?
Re: Front Wheel Conversion
The wheel bearings fit in the wheel itself .

Re: Front Wheel Conversion
I think Agriline do a replace wheel hubs for all Majors.
Re: Front Wheel Conversion
The wheel hub is all part of the cast wheel, all you need is two wheels, bearings, possibly the retaining nut with a clamp bolt as well as the cotter pin and seals. Major wheel hubs are only required for the plate steel wheel.
