Can someone tell me what type of paint the Empire Blue was? Example,enamal or laquior.

Starr,
I used Vapormatic paint which is an enamel.

Originally I would say it was an Enamal. Laquer was reserved for higher end automobiles, and there is too much hand rubbing involved to be pratical for a piece of farm machinery. Forget about getting the original stuff with lead and oil as it is no longer made. Modern paint is acrylic based, weather refered to as enamal or laquer. If your painting your Fordson, go for enamal. I've started using T&R Williamson empire blue, get a good finish with it, slightly deeper than agrilines empire blue.
