Testament to the strength of a Fordson

Post by halloween »

Finally got to see what was left of the Power Majors Clutch today.

I think a rebuild is out of the question.

I am amazed that the tractor moved at all.....

Too bad the top plate is cracked. Looks like you will have to shop around or resort to used parts. Agriline lists one, but it is out of stock at this time and expensive.

Maybe these guys ... http://www.cotswoldvintagetractors.com/ ... alvage.htm

Hi
Well I guess I could think Of a descriptive word beginning with F and ending in d to describe that clutch, Sadly it looks like someone else had the best 300 Euros out of it  , it still looks better than the one my friend pulled out a few years ago though, His exploded into 300 small parts and the biggest bit was about 2" and it all half filled a wheel barrow  .
I hope you have some good luck on a used replacement :)
Regards Robert

Fubar isn't really appropriate as it can still be recognized as a clutch!!!
