picked up oil filter today for 1962 super major.it is agco parts no. 8375 95m91 supposed to be thesame as ford epn 6731b i nitice the cannister is shorter than the one in the major. is this the correct filter?

There are two different filters for the Major. Sounds like it is not right and you need the long one. Dandy Dave!

thanks for the reply. the cannister on the tractor seems to indicate that size, but who knows what has been done in the past. on the major it has the longer canister. this super major has the shorter version.want to get it rite as it is a totally rebuilt motor etc.
