Hi
They where a short production from July 63- October 64 so not a long run by fordson standards.
I just found first and last serial number and took the low from the high number

, it looks like there might of been 15811 tractors made if my thinking is correct
I think the biggest problem with them being rare is that back in the mid/ late 90's and probably before , Mid 90's is when I became aware of it through joining the tractor trade. There was a heavy export in them and many left the U.K so finding them is hard

.
I remember seeing lines of them 100 or more at Cambridge machinery sales for months, and the same with 1000 series and other things like Massey 100 series. Also a lot never went through the sale they where container'd in private yards and sent.
I know 1 guy from my time living in the U.K that shipped maybe 20 containers (5 or more tractors in each) of new performance supers In 1 Year when export was good on them

.
I will say I never got in to export sales I only shipped what I had in my private collection when I came to Canada .
Export sales struck me as being the same as guys robbing stuff from tombs in pyramids and selling it , somebody's history was being sold and leaving the country, I still have my tractors here, No 1 is not an English NPSM

. I managed to buy more Majors locally to fill the gaps and get a full set and then some

.
Now lots of these tractors are scarce and make good money because of export

.
I hope this answers your question
Regards Robert
