PTO output seal leak

Hi guys i have a 1957 FMD and its got a rear PTO seal leak i have taken it apart and got the housing off of the bearingn, however i am struggling to grasp weather i need to punch out the old leather seal and metal housing it is in? because the metal that is housing it looks like part of the main casing? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. P.s im new to the forum so dont know how to upload photos which could explain my explinaion a bit clearer. Cheers
The sheet metal shell needs to come out also. Dandy Dave!
