Question of weight

Post by Mermilliod »

Hello,

I have a 1953 Fordson Major Diesel with a front loader (bucket) and sodium filled tires.

I am in the market for a new utility trailer and want to make sure I get one heavy enough to transport the Fordson when I get it back running. I seem to recall that the tractor itself weighs in at 6500 lbs but I have not been able to find that reference to verify.

Would anyone here know in round terms what I might expect the tractor with the loader and filled tires to weigh in at?

Thanks,
Jeffrey
