Hi,
the end of my project comes in sight, so here is a little status update:

The whole story starts here:

Friday I have a date at the german TÜV to get the technical approval for road use.
Linkage is still missing. Nearly all parts a bend or welded, I'll mount them after the technical checks.

Hi,
back from TÜV: I got the technical approval.

Next is "Zulassungsstelle", the authority in Germany to give you a number plate. I got no papers with her, let's hope, she's not stolen in former times. They check it in whole Europe, but it works online, so you know instantly.

Hi,
last update: Got the numberplate, now she's allowed to be on the road.
Next job is to stop her leak oil around.

Frohbotschaft, Peter. Jetzt kannst du eine Spritztour machen!
Re your leaks, where are they? All fixable, of course - some more easily than others!
Best

Hi,
After our holidays and in a not so rainy day i'll take a tour.
Leaks are on front crankshaft, somewhere near the clutch, brake pedal axis and the rear axle trumpets(?) . Injection pump also leaks oil a bit. Work for the winter ...

Hi Peter
The front and rear crankshaft seals involve a bit of work. I've got the same problem after not doing the job properly when I rebuilt my engine.

The brake/clutch pedals cross-shaft seals are not so troublesome. The rear axle trumpet housing seals are also doable relatively easily. Lots of info and photos available on this forum for all these jobs.
Best
Adrian
