Good idea to scratch around in the bottom of each of the bolt holes with a small screwdriver to loosen any carbon deposits, and then either blow out the holes with an air line, or suck them out with a vacuum cleaner. You wouldn't want the bolts to bottom out on foreign matter in the holes, thereby giving you a false torque reading.
