EBRO Fordson majors

Post by Jimcdbts »

Hi
Anybody know much about the ebro models as it would seem that the ebro name was used on a lot of tractors that are clearly built before the tooling was shipped to spain after the line at Dagenham was closed. Tractors that look to be from the 50`s and badged as ebro were these simply rebadged majors shipped from Britain.

In this article http://tractors.wikia.com/wiki/Ebro you find the following:

The first tractors appeared in 1955 with a Fordson built under license. Other Ford-based tractors followed, until they changed over to building Massey Ferguson tractors under license, which eventually led to the later becoming Motor Iberica controlling shareholder with 36%.
