Hi
Does anyone know the thread size of the large bolt that holds the crankshaft pulley on ? The head of the bolt takes the starting handle.
My thread is damaged inside the end of the crank and I need to run a Tap down it.
Its a Fordson Major, not sure exactly which year but it has the throttle linkage that goes through the block.
Any help will be much appreciated

Sadly, the parts list does not detail the thread size of the front crankshaft "bolt", as it is not a standard fastener. I would take your long crankshaft bolt to a good fastener supplier, or engine reconditioning shop and they will use a thread gauge to tell you what it is.
