I have recently purchased a 1962 Super Major.I have changed PTO seals,gearbox output seal and the crossshaft seals.I now have to get the hydraulics working.
Can anyone tell me if the check valve seat should be a tight fit in its bore or should it slide freely ?

Think its a tight fit Mark,looks like a good project , Liam.

I thought it should be tight but some people were telling me it should be free and I wanted to check before putting it back together.
