back end industrial i guess but what about front axle.

Nice picture of the "diesel" badge we are looking for.

Looks like a Standard FMD with no lift. Possibly out of a JCB. It has two brake pedals and "normal" brakes rather than the industrial single pedal and brakes on the halfshaft.

To me it looks like a super major back-end and engine, with a standard major bonnet, tank and steering column.

These are calles FMB or something like that .

I have notice the badge at once. Going to be a bit expensive for just two badges.
I guess has to wait a bit more.

Emiel, where does de B stands for in FMB.

The front axle could be a Bray loader model but then upside down.
Ford tractor conversions page 209. Or it's a home made one.

Just down the road from me! It looks like the skid has been taken from a Whitlock digger. The wheels, front axle,yellow paint plus lack of 3pt look to give it away. I wonder if it has had a cover over the exhaust?

I thought Whitlock was the brand of the loader that was fitted on different tractor brands. Did they build there own loader?

What a mistaka to maka Emiel. Did not recognize the short for it.

Whitlock were one of the original digger loaders based on the new Major. They were originaly called "Dinkum Diggers".

They used a very complicated back actor lift linkage which seemed to have rams and struts everywhere.

Ther was also a tie-up with my favorite farm digger the Webb 360 in that Whitlock and Webb co-operated in manufacture of each others machines.

The Whitlock digger eventually became a Hy-Mac and were painted a lime green colour. They had a structual weakness in the top of the first boom piviot which kept tearing out.

That tractor is so much of a BITSA its not true!

Starting at the front approx age range of parts:

1. Radiator 1952-1955
2. Front axle and rear wheels Dinkum Digger (?)
3. Engine 1957-1960.
4. Firewall 1952-1955
5. Bonnet 1952-1953
6. Fuel tank 1952 -1957
7. Steering box 1952-1958
8. High/Low selector 1955
9. Gearbox/final drive 1960-1964
10. Rear wings 1952-1960

Wonder if the person who put that together is also a Johnny Cash fan?

i thought it might have been a made up from several different majors but that must nearly be a record!!
