:?:

I have a 54 FMD parts tractor with an odd set of solid one piece cast iron, bolt inside rear wheel weights. They are very large and heavy. I would guess at least 500lbs each. This is the only set of these I have ever seen. Are these after market or Fordson issue. Pix coming

Those are standard Fordson wheel weights of the 1950's and 1960's

Brian,
They are normal Fordson wheel weights, but most people around here put them on the outside. This is the only set I've seen, in person, that were on the inside.

We would fit them on either side depending on the wheel setting and what the customer wanted. On the '000nd series tractors some customers had them on both sides at the same time.

No, check my pix.
But what is interesting on that tractor is the
hyd 3PT arm positioner. Is that yours? Is that a standard cyl?

That is some weight Tom! I would think that is made on your side of the pond rather than over here.

That's not my tractor, so I don't know much about it. I bought his Power Major and he kept that Major, but I think he sold it later. If he had sold them both at the same time I would have brought my big trailer and took two home.
