what oil should i use in gearbox and rear axle searched loads and cant understand all say different oils whats recommended ?????

hiya skidz,
Look at posting from brian about oil spec's. ford changed requirements for majors from 90w gear oil to 30w engine oil so your choice.
Brian is the wizard so ignore his word at you peril. cheers. mark

so what do I ask for at the shop if don't mind me asking as confused

hi skidz. without knowing any extreme temperatures involved any 20/30 universal tractor oil will do the job, a straight 20/30 sae is the specified oil but a UTO will be a lot easier to find. Mark
