Hi all

Evening all,

I've just bought a 1958 Power Major with live drive.
Needs some tinkering, tachometer cable or drive or both and someone's hacked the warning loom to bits. Oh and she's not rusty but is in desperate need of some paint, mechanically she's perfect though. Already replaced the return pipe, lift pump gasket and a leaky fuel tap.
Looking forward to learning from the great resource here.

Also will I have to have the pto engaged to work the lift arms on this live drive model? As that could be a real pita.

welcome to this forum. You found the right place.

You need the PTO engaged to use the lift.
