Hi all !!
as you kmow,im a proud owner of a lovely e1adkn/tvo major,from 1952. now i want to know,what is the official hp rating on these
engines???

Hello Jan,

Something round 34 bhp I think.

Check this picture, it is the Dutch translation of the measurements make at the UK "DLG" in the early 1950's.

These say 32.4 BHP on the belt pulley drive.

ps: These 32 are very big horses. We used to have a 40 HP 3 cilinder Hanomag who performed less to my idea.

Specc of the three engines at 1600 rpm from 1952 are:

Diesel .. 40.5 bhp
Petrol .. 39.5 bhp
Kerosene .. 38.5 bhp

These would be bare engine figures so they would loose a few more HP through gearbox and ancillary equipment.

when she is ready,i will work/treat her not so hard.so i think
that`s ok with the power.
and Henk,rhe Hanomag have not 3,6 l,must be around 2,5-3,0l-
but more Rpm`s)that`s why he have "more" power.
but anyway.
