replacing drag links

Post by drz400 »

Hello after some help/info again I need to replace my drag link ends due to being worn badly. should I change the whole drag link or just the ends? when looking for the ends it just shows the ball and nut I guess it comes with more bits?

The Major never had screw in drag link ends as you never needed to alter the length when changing the front wheel settings so they went to the welded up drag link in around 1960. So a complete drag link is all you could get.

There is no reason why you could not get after market ends and weld them into your tube as long as you keep the drag link the same length.
