New Performance gearbox

Hi,
Can anyone help me, I have just been to look at what we believe to be a New Performance Super Major, it has a non live drive gearbox could anyone tell me whether this would be original from factory.

The Live Drive on Supers and all Dextas was always an optional extra and not a standard fitting so the answer is yes it is.
