From Weight Bolts

Post by Ambidextarous »

I'm having an adaptor plate made to fit Ford 1000 series slab weights to my Super Major as I refuse to pay the stupid money Fordson weights fetch. My question is, what size and thread are the bolts that go into the tractor. I have two, which were holding the number plate on but I need two more for the adaptor plate. Any help much appreciated.

Another though, why not have a weight box built? You can throw in scrap, spare parts, tools etc. and it would be cheaper than lumps of cast iron.

Thanks Brian I'd still need the bolts as I wouldn't trust just the two holding anything on plus, I've got a front loader for it and a weight box might get in the way. If I live long enough to get the New Performance drivable I would put a box on that.
