hello there
I have a 56 major with the depth control thingy that works from a cam fastened to the end of the lift arm cross shaft.
I pulled it all to bits to free it off & paint it,then discovered I had lost the cam
Does anyone please know of the wherabouts of a cam
thank you

You have heard the saying about hens teeth and rocking horse manure? You are more likely to find both than a cam for that system.
They were an optional extra and very few were ever fitted. I do have some parts for one like the long rod that moves the lever and the adjuster plate but I am pretty sure I do not have the cam.
Will look in a few days and let you know.

Thanks brian
I saw one on a tractor that my mate made into a tractor puller,
but he sold the tractor before I could cadge it.
I guess we could make one if we had one to copy
