super major hydraulic part identification

Hello all,
I have been having a few issues with the hydraulics on our 1961 super major, got the top off today and it turns out that the draft control linkage has come apart, the short flat linkage bar has come detached on the end where it attaches to the hydraulic linkage, the pin that holds it is no wear to be seen I presume its in the bottom of the axle, can anyone tell me what this pin looks like, and how it fixes, does it screw in ? is it held with a split pin/circlip.
thank you all in advance for any info you can give

Regards
Stuart

This is the lid from a NP Super, so not exactly the same scene as you will be viewing.
However, it's similar enough to be helpful, I think.

Thank you, yes that's very similar, it looks like it is just pressed into the steel block? I was thinking of getting and extendable magnetic pick up tool and trying to find the pin in the oil in the back axle.
Thanks again
Stuart

Looking at photos in the repair manual, the pin in question appears to be threaded.
The pin must be on the floor of the rear axle, either whole, assuming it didn't get caught and chewed up by the meshing final reduction/bull pinion gears, or in bits. :(
Good luck.
Best, Adrian.

After much searching I found the pin in the back axle, however it was badly bent think this must have occurred as the pin was working its way out, I have had a new pin made and fitted it today all went together well, made all the adjustments as shown to set up the linkage all seemed ok till tried it when in position control is selected the control leaver is binding about half way up and when draft is selected it won't lift until you get the control leaver right to the top.
