Pull up lever behind hand brake??

What does the pull up knob behind the hand brake do?
It pulls up and then turns so as not to drop back down again. I have no idea

It is a lock for the foot brakes. Pull it up and turn it then push the foot brakes down, they will stay down until you release the handle. Some tractors were not equipped with the transmission hand brake.

And a lot less damage when you forgot to release it.
Transmission breake works great.but can create a lot of work in the transmission part of the tractor.
