piston ring gap
Does anyone know the spec for the piston ring gap and the tourque specs for the connecting rods? Also the clutch o es would be helpfull. I can find manuals online but havent been able to find tourque specs or the ring gaps?

According to the I&T shop manual:
Three compressionrings and two oiol rings are fitted. Top ring can be identified by the letters H en T on one side. It can be installed with either side up.The two lower compression rings have the mark TOP up The oil rings can be installed either face up. Gap, all rings 0.11-0.06 inch.
The connecting rod bolts needs 55-60 FT.-LBS.
Clutch adjusting srews 5 FT.-LBS. Thats all I can find.
Use the search option. There are topics about the clutch and dual clutch.

Just double checking the numbers
Rings are gapped to between .110 and .060 ? The reason i am checking is i just checked the first ring and its .014 so thats way off spec

According to my manual - you got the decimal point in the wrong place, Henk 
Ring end gap (all rings):
Desired 0.011-0.016
Wear limit 0.040
Ring side clearance in groove (all rings):
Desired 0.002-0.004
Wear limit 0.005
I think we deserve a few photos of your tractor when it is finished, for all our help, Mark We are already rather envious of its spec - live-drive, raised pto, a decent loader with its own pump, power steering (if I remember right), nice big wheels.. It makes the majority of Majors we see on this side of the Pond, seem rather basic!
