Climbing step?
Has anyone put a climbing step on their major? The left-hand side of our Power Major feels awkward to enter due to a combination of the high step, narrow opening between the tank and fender, and the clutch pedal.

Re: Climbing step?
I've been thinking about it Puffie, as the years pass the step seems to get higher and when I need to do anything under the dear old Volvo, it seems to be getting nearer the ground
So far I've not figured out where to stabilise it from - rather than beefing up the footplate, had been wondering if I could get away with something suspended from the steering drag arm, I've generally got an axe or two a chain and some other tools hung on it.
