Buying flat belt pulley

Thinking of installing one. Not easy to find here. Some advertised as not turning freely.
Rebuilding seems straightforward. So if need be would buying one known to need rebuilding a decent option?
Are the belt attachments the same from the New Major to the Power and Super Majors?
We'd like to run a cordwood saw, but also wonder if this would also run an old handset circular sawmill.
It is not a Bel-saw, which were designed to run off a tractor, but a bit heavier sawmill.
Originally powered by water, likely steam and later in its life gasoline engines. I believe the last power unit was around 35 hp.
Ideally a dedicated power unit would be best, but wondering if we could use the FMD for a time milling smaller logs.
