Thread size of the rear axle filler cap

Hi all, being really lazy here, but is there anyone out there who can tell me what the thread size is on the rear axle filler cap???? Saves me going up to the workshop and measuring it !!!!!

I think its 2" but I'm not sure.

You may need to check, I thought it was 1 1/4" BSPT but its a while since I put a return pipe in there. Dave

Thanks for that, that’s exactly what I thought, I will be in the workshop tomorrow morning and hopefully I’ll get it measured, I know that the thread is bsp, I’ll get the callipers out & measure, just to make sure!!! I’m doing the exact same thing as fitting a return pipe for extra spool valves!! I really appreciate your feedback on this :

The output for external services is 1 1/2" BSP. You can use a spare filler cap and drill and tap it to 1 1/2" BSP for a return of a spool valve.

even better, thanks for that, saves money and I hadn’t thought of doing that, luckily I have that size, sometimes brain cells need a kick up the arse!!!
