FMD front wheel bolts

Post by leeroy »

I am having a time sourcing the correct wheel bolts here in the states. I think they would be the same for other tractors such as Ford 2000, 3000 etc.,
but cannot confirm. Also seems it matches up with Ferguson TE20, but again cannot confirm.
One part number from New Holland is 81708224

The correct part is E83W-1107. It's bigger than the Dexta one, so it's probably bigger than the Fergie and Ford world series bolts too.

Thank you both.
John Agriline shows a different part number, I'm thinking the difference may be length, diameter and threads same.
I think I'll pop one out and go from there. The right front tire is a dual rear rim off a Chevy truck held on by bolts, not the correct ones. Looks goofy and she deserves better. We do have the correct rim.

I think you'll find the Major nut is bigger than the Dexta one.

Yes, that is right Sandy. It may be best to get it from Agriline. I've had fine service from them.

I cannot match up part numbers from any supplier, but Ford 8N front wheel bolts have the same specs from what I see.
Glancing at my sons 8N they sure look like a match. I'll have to pop one out from each tractor and measure them.
So John, don't go out of your way to look at your 4100, as I'm pretty sure they are different.

Not sure if you all are familiar with this style of wheel bolts.

We've got two sets (24), that's how I know that they're bigger than the Dexta ones (that we have one set of).
