Now covid is gone (according to the government), we are going to do some ploughing in the coming weekend.
Started to de rust the boddies and discs. I hope they will shine after an hour of ploughing.
I also fixed the problem with the turning mechanism. Hope this will stay fine.

Sure they'll shine. And your Major will have a good run too.

Ah; the joys of mouldboard ploughing! I spent many enjoyable hours doing that in the early 70s. But here in Oz it's disc ploughing -- not the same thing; and even now, after nearly 50 years, I miss it.
Just a thought: After autumn ploughing we always coated boards and discs with a mixture of grease and old sump oil to keep them shiny till the spring.

We do ploughing by cultivator and we use old oil to stop rust.
Here are some recent shots (not great ones though)

Good work Mathias, good to see a Super 6 at work, although the plough is a bit wee!

Its actually a super 4, but it had an engine swap in the past. One in the front would be really cool, but where to find one?

Looks like a world series Ransomes plough, I don't know which one though.

Hi,

Thanks. Blue could have been a Lemken as well. That’s why I asked.

Enjoy it. I ploughed some weeks ago with the Dexta and the single furrow Lemken flip over plough. Forgot to take pictures
