well it's my first tractor, and I neglected a bit over the last years, there was always something more urgent tot do on the Selene and County. But it was always ready when I needed it for a tractor run.

Some more pictures from today.

Radiator needs to be redone, I hope it's cheaper than a new one.

Looking good, I wish all bell housings were as clean as that! Lovely looking clutch too. The rear bush on the starter needs fixing, but I don't know what you'll be using from this engine on the other one. Some more pics of the Ebro engine would also be great, as this is quite a late one (the numbers under injector nos. 1 and 4 are also nice to know, you posted the engine number a while ago but the other one I can't remember). Hope the Ford engine runs well.

Will post more pictures of the engine soon.
As for the starter, It will be reused. I think I needs these: https://www.autoelectricalspares.co.uk/ ... 1873-p.asp
In the meantime I will change the brushes too.

Currently busy with dismantling the front axle. the pivot pin was a pain in the ass to get removed.

I know what you mean about the front axle. Thanks for the link for the bushes, not that we need them on any of ours but it's always good to know.

little progress made so far:
Old bush, no damage to the casting, just one time
Image

new and old pin together:
Image

The bushing the sell wasn't the right size. A friend with a lathe did the outside. For the inside I used the adjustable reamer
Image

reaming the new bushings for the spindles.
Image
the grooves goes up until the top, it's both ways on this bushing, depends on the supplier.
Image

Cleaned out the hubs, the bearings were still good.
I replaced the seal, at this moment it's wider then the old one. So may need to check the play on the bearings..
And new fresh grease

Image

Also I'm happy I found this little screen filter, I never have seen it before between the fordson parts, but they do sell it for the ferguson. use F345N to find it at Kramp!
Image

Still struggling to find a supplier for the bushing in the radius rod, same goes for the bush in the upper part of the steering gear (just below the steering wheel)
Next job is to take care of the track rod, the holes in the extension rod are a bit worn out.

Good work, looks like you were unlucky, Super Billy's bush from Agriline was good. Your spindle bushes are better than what we got, better to have too many grooves than none. The new seals are always big and need lots of early attention. Good to see you got that screen, I can't think how many will still be without that. Your friend with the lathe is your best bet for those bushes, I've never seen them new. The tie rod is a bit of a battle, if the pins are not a press fit in the ends you'll need new ones, I have seen new ones of those around. Once you fit the tie rod check the toe in is actally 0.
