Hi all,
I assume many of you will know that until the Mk2 Major's had the same clip for holding the bonnet prop into the hole in the firewall as the grill clip, part no. E1ADKN-16828. Some of these still survive but many are broken or missing. From then on a new part, E1ADKN-16828B was used, this one fits thorugh square holes and is not attached by screws.
After looking around a bit I found a Mk2 Major that still had these, and promptly made them up for Super Billy and Davie, out of what I could find. Would love to find some genuine ones.

Quite rare to find, we had a couple of new old stock ones here.

Do you think they're reasonably accurate? They seem to work ok but would love to have them looking more like the original ones. I can only think of seeing them on one Mk2 Major, they are visible in the odd Ford film but not close enough to see well enough for making them.
You're lucky to have had some new ones, most seem to have broken and/or been lost.

It seems to work for many people, I use it all the time and only rarely find that it's not quite working. (don't know if it's something to do with our connection or not though as it is on the poor side)
How's the prototype Super Major doing?
