Now the rest of the Story,
This Tractor was purchased new by my ex wifes family where in the 1960's and 70's they had a farm in Manorton NY. When the Farm was sold in the latter 70's, the Fordson remained, and the farm became a sand pit. The old Fordson sat along the hedge row for a number of years until a friend of mine was trucking sand out of the pit, saw it, and bought it in the early 1990's. He brought the tractor home and called me to get it running which I did. The wiring and electrical stuff was a mess, but he said he did not want to bother with that, and just to get the starter to work so he could use it several times a year. After a short time the clutch went out of it and he again called me and I split the tractor and went though the two stage clutch for him. Around that time he painted it red and took the original lights off of it, and put the incorrect crome lights on it. He said he would like me to restore it for him someday so I brought the original Butlers lights home and put them on the shelf. The wiring and switches got worse as time went on and he would tow it to start it once in a while. Soon, it just sat for a long number of years and one day, while I was displaying equipment at the Rhinebeck Fair, he came up to the fence and said, If you want the old Fordson, You can have it....And there you see the tractor photos of it in red.
Things I did to get it back in Shape
Removed and relined the brake shoes
Rewired everything
New switches, celinoid, regulator.
New gauges and Tach, Tach cable, and drive.
New steering wheel.
Rebuilt the power steering cylinder. The control valve was seized from sitting so long and it leaked badly.
Restored the original head lights.
New shifter handles.
New lift pump.
Rebushed the front spindles and tie rod ends.
Replaced the hoses to the remote cylinder control valve.
And also put on a new seat with the correct pads.
New Muffler
Paint.
Changed all the fluids and filters.
New belts and coolant hoses.
Several thing remain to be done.
A horn installed, and also I need a photo of the seat latch for an easy ride seat so that I can reproduce it. Thanks all,

Dandy Dave!
