Looks like she is an all original Feb/Mar 1959. Sounds like a nice tractor.

Thanks Brian, shes been out of use for around 14 years from what I can tell and stored insode for all that time.

I get the impression that its either been cared for or had little use (no tractor meter on it).

Your tractor is very close to Erik B's, rear axles cast on the same day. See Dexta Register.

i think that photo was taken at staffordshire county show in uttoxeter about 1956! tom fryer gave my uncle the original copy of this picture and a few more. this dealer was 4 miles down the road from me and fryers are family friends, they stopped selling tractors and moved to selling cars and have now stopped trading.i'm just restoring a dexta sold by them new, if you want to know who brought your tractor new all fryers records are in stafford libary and can be looked at by request..

Thanks for that, might well take a trip over to Stafford for a look.

Its an old stomping ground of mine as I lived there for 14 months when I was working at Alsthom.

your serial number, reg number and who brought it new should all be logged it may be a good idea to contact the libary first to make sure they're there as a friend of mine asked to see them once and they'd been lent to a local news paper or something like that :D
