For draining water/coolant from the block. There's another one at the bottom of the rad

Yup, block coolant drain.....and they come up nice and shiney being made of brass!

I notice also that the outlet on the one in the picture is rather blocked up!

round my part, when the spring weakened and the value began to leak they just got a shot of braze to fix them!
I don’t know what I am doing!
