Hi all, not been around too much, just moved house and re-homed the Dexta ready for restarting restoration. Taken some doing but looking forward to getting back to it.
Speaking to an old chap, he said he thought Dexta's had belt pulleys on a lot of them, as per the link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/fordson-dexta ... 1c25c6bb63
Not too sure myself; can anyone confirm? Not seen anything in the manuals, and cant see where it would fit other than on the PTO?

It is mentioned in the manual. It may not be possible to fit it at the same time as having the automatic hitch fitted.

Some mornings I wake up grumpy, but most mornings I let her sleep in.
Re: Belt Pulley
It has got the 957E numbers on it like everything dexta seems to have on it.tom lad wrote:that pulley looks alot like a fergie one to me , maybe they were symular ? i dont know , the paints right colour i guess

Re: Belt Pulley
I have a fergie one and a dexta one. I can't remember the differences off the top of my head but they are pretty similar.
Re: Belt Pulley
I just had a look at the dexta pulley I have. It looks exactly the same as the one on ebay and I compared mine with pictures and no's in the manual when I bought it and everything matched up.
Re: Belt Pulley
The obvious difference between the Fergie and dexta pulley is the PTO shaft size surely as Fergie have the smaller shaft diameter
Fordson Super Dexta, Ford 4610, and Ford 3000
Re: Belt Pulley
Some of the fergie pulleys have the bigger pto shaft on them too. I assume they were made for newer feguson models although they look the same other than the shaft size.
